Thank you for taking your time to read Hidden Gems in Second Life.
In 2014, I expanded Hidden Gems to include interior design styling, focusing on home designs and home & garden events Second Life offers. I’m excited to share my “finds” with you and this new passion that has been ignited by SL.
Last year, I have styled everything from a Wolf’s Lair, to a Old West General Store, to a Moroccan Oasis. I created an ‘out of this world’ centauri space pod, a masculine industrial warehouse with gaming room & bar, a charming gypsy caravan, numerous greenhouses, gazebos & gardens, and even built a small Victorian village complete with Annie’s Antique Corner Shoppe, housing a sewing and design center. I designed many many rooms from vintage to shabby chic, to modern, to Art Deco. I’ve done an old-fashion soda and candy shop in a skybox, a chldrens’ triplets room, and a delightful garden cafe. I created a winter lodge complete with skating pond, a rustic mountain log cabin and a rural Americana bedroom. Lots of themed holiday stylings were on my agenda including: Valentine, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. Not to be boring, I styled a cabana, a spa suite, and a retro kitchen. I hosted monthly open houses tours, created sim builds and who knows what beckons. The richness and depth of SL interior designs and home builds are an inspiration to me.
I can’t wait to share with you more stylings in the future. Thank you for your readership.
Gloria
