Happy Rez Day to Me!

On Monday, May 13, 2013 Gloria turned 2 years old.  I know I’m a bit late on celebrating her special day but in RL my birthday last a whole week (sometimes when I’m very sweet I can push it to two), so Gloria will be fine with my belated birthday wishes.  I honestly can’t believe I’ve been on SL for 2 years.  I was the biggest skeptic of second life and thought that it was hot bed of creepy old dudes with only one thing on their mind.  I have never been more wrong about anything.  I love the diversity of artists, activities and of course, the friends I have made.  A special shout out goes to Niki Silverweb (who convince me to try SL out and after my first hunt, I was hooked), Kaliwillo Lane Celt (sweet dear Kali, I made a real friend for life), Stormy Somerton (my girlfriend who is always ready to find a great party or willing to start one, lol), Alma, Ayla, Yvone, Warm, Journey, Jezzixa, Argus, Shiran, Don, Grant, Wicca, Cao, Morgane, Wren and Max you are all so special to me…..thank you for making my SL experience the best!

Hippity hoppity Easter’s on it’s way!

Two Moon Paradise hosted the weekly theme costume contest, Best in Easter this evening in the new Butterfly Garden. Pastels, flowers and garden insects floated above as we danced our bunny tails off to the music DJ by Jaymes Capalini and choreographed by Kellie McMinnar of Funky Feats Dance Group.  I saw giant E-Bunnies, spring fling chicks, traditional Sunday best garb and cracked eggs.  Congrats to the big winners of the night, Azura, Kevin & LouLou.

 

This weekend Two Moon is celebrating Easter with a line-up of great music and free butterfly wings at the Butterfly Garden venue on Saturday & Sunday.  The Butterfly Garden has Easter rides, interactive fairytale story books and fun, colorful spots to soak up Springtime!

Luck O’ the Irish

My St. Patrick’s Day festivities kicked off at Two Moon Paradise.  Irish spirit really hit last evening, Thursday, March 14, 2013, with green beer, Irish jigs and wild river dancing at the weekly costume contest hosted by Kellie McMinnar of Funky Feats Dance Group and DJ’ed by Jaymes Capalini.  High flying kicks, pounding heel taps, traditional kilts and fabulous costumes highlighted the event.  Leprechauns, Kiki and Elijah, shared the pot of gold for best costumes.  Big Congrats!  Traditional Irish tunes were mixed with Irish vocalists,  Riverdance and U2.

On Sunday, March 17, 2013, Two Moon Paradise is hosting an all day St. Patrick’s Day party with free beer, surprises and party hats.  Music starts at 12 -2pm with DJ Baxter and Drummer Farrokh Vavoom, and continues with Maximillion Kleene at 4-5pm.  This is just one of the St. Patrick’s Day events that is hosted on SL.  I will have separate blog post about all the parties, costumes, clothes and decor to get you in the Irish spirit.

Shiran’s decorations were spot on again and I couldn’t resist taking a picture with the large Happy St. Patrick’s Day sign, located right next to the green beer. 🙂  Thank you Shiran, Argus, Kellie and Jaymes for another awesome party!

Lean, mean, dancing machine!

Two Moon Paradise Oasis dance club was transformed into the Emerald City yesterday, Thursday, March 7, 2013, featuring the weekly costume contest with theme anything green.  Sychonronized dance troupe Funky Feats led the group where everything from glam Dames to forest creatures tapped their feet and did a little jig.  Congrats to Julian, LouLou, Cricket and Galeatea who shared the green pot of linden gold
