Goodnight Sweetheart!

Today, I have more exclusive 100% donation items from the SL Home & Garden Expo 2016 and we continue our tour of the Cloverleaf bungalow by Galland Homes.  The modern girly bedroom just might be my favorite out of all of them because it’s style after my real life space.  Two primary colors of white and rose quartz dominate the room with three separate areas; a mini office complete with desk, a dressing area and sleeping quarters.  The oversized glamorous white leather tufted bed beckons you to dream about shoes!  The Boudoir Lit in Vanilla by Kaya’s Ray of Sunshine is a 100% donation item at the Expo running from February 14 to March 6, 2016.  Suspended above the bed is Kaya’s Candle and Caged Chandelier.  Another exclusive donation creation is the Vintage Valentine Lace Top Wallpaper pack in seven styles from Irrie’s Dollhouse (both Hope 6).

One underlining theme in the bedroom is birdcages, at first when I saw the spread I was going to call the post Birdcage Boudoir :-)!  If this was a contest, The Mustard Seed (Hope 6) would win for best use of floral display and variety.  From wall mounted cages overflowing with tulips and tied bows, to standing floor units with pretty pinky bird {pic below}, to crystal chandelier tabletop all in pink, Spring has arrived.  The Demi Table and Birdcage Floor Planter are the two 100% donation items, and there is a gacha machine filled with other colored floor stand & tabletop crystal chandelier with 50% of the proceeds donated to Relay of Life of Second Life.

Displayed on The Mustard Seed Demi Tables used as bedside tables are more exclusive donation creations along with Fly with Me figurines by Chic Buildings (Hope 6).  Hope Blocks from Magnum Opus (Hope 1) are on the Expo Hunt for $10L.  Also displayed is Shabby Tabby (Hope 8) bucket of bright roses, paper flowers wall art and some framed brand logos I used in the bedroom.  What Next Amelia Bookcase and Desk flank the fireplace.

As we move from the sleeping quarters to the office, La Galleria gorgeous White Column Fireplace sets the tone and creates warmth in the bedroom.  Displayed on the mantel is Daydreamers Love Letters sign re-textured (Hope 7) and The Mustard Seed Pink Camellia Vase {part of the Bird Cage Floor Planter set}.  Hanging above the fireplace is Spargel & Shines Homes Bocas Belle Mirror (Hope 1).

The office area is decked out with sweet treats Frosty Chockberry Cake & Freesia Dessert Plate from BeYou World and Irrie’s Dollhouse Home Picture Frame filled with more expo exhibitor logos used in the bedroom and landscape (all items listed are 100% donation and located on Hope 6).

Finally, we move into my favorite part of the room, the dressing area complete with a well-organized Glam Closet from Bazar (100% donation item-Hope 8).  The closet is available in white or wood and male/female versions.  It can also be used as individual pieces or a unit to fit your needs.  On top of the closet unit I placed What Next storage boxes (metallic & colors version) previously released at January round of Collabor88, now available at the main What Next store.  Lastly, probably my fave item so far is Bazar round dusty rose tufted Glam Ottoman.  Guarding the dressing area is Kaya’s Ray of Sunshine golden birdcage with hydrangea and blue Parakeet (loved her so much I named her Tweety bird).  Hope you enjoyed the modern girly bedroom and take some time to check out all the exhibitors at the Expo!

I Heart U!

Winter Blues!

Brrr, bundle-up  it’s getting cold out there!  Today, you’re in luck, I styled a warm and cozy living space using CIRCA Living latest releases from the OMG! and Mix event in cool icy blues and winter whites.  The Winter Solstice collection is a lounge room gacha at the OMG! Oh My Gacha event that closes in 4 days and cost $65L per play.  There are 12 common items and 3 rares to win, all transferable.  Part of the Winter Solstice collection shown above includes blue ribbed area rug, floor cushion (9 sit animations), rattan ball floor lights, hexagon hive wall shelf, chalkboard art, light blue beanbag chair (26 sit animations) and modern fireplace with decor.  To complete the styling of the living room, I added some WinterWoods pieces available for the Mix Event until January 31, 2016.   The WinterWoods items shown above are the Ornate Bench in Frost Blue and Stick Tree Set in Winter Blues.  I also included part of the WinterWoods collection; branch coffee table, mini forest bucket and decorative light trees, all available at CIRCA Living main store.  The final touches of the winter wonderland space includes La Galleria snowflake toss pillows, wall decor and lantern (freebies), Plethora hanging snowflakes and snow-dusted white winter trees.  Hope you enjoyed my winter blues inspired living space and I encourage you to hop around the grid to create your own!

Contemporary & Cozy

Park Place Home Decor is participating in a new event called Gacha Good Events Out With the Old…. In With the New! (1/10-1/31) offering a collection of chairs and decor items in different styles ranging from contemporary to rustic.  At the event there are a few new releases and two gacha machines, one filled with chair ($75L) and the other contains decorative accessories ($35L).  To give you an idea of the diversity of products available, I styled two spaces; an art gallery and a cozy cabin.

The art gallery is inspired by the Dada movement, best known for cubism with artist such as Marcel Duchamp, Hans Richter, and Max Ernst.  Dada influenced later avant-garde development of surrealism and pop art.  I wanted to create a tension filled space with a feeling of the unexpected including the Park Place 3-D Cube Wall Decor (on wall & floor), Tabletop Wireframe Decor, and Autumn Wooden Wall Planters (on window), all gacha decor items.  In the gallery, I also used Gold Dust Canvas, Haven Accent Chair (Berry) and Leaf Chair (Harvest Gold), two gacha chair items.  Lastly, I accessorized with Sway’s Facette Collection including the vase & wall art (Jan 2016 Mix event, until 1/31), hanging lights and table, all in multiple color options.

The other space is a rustic cozy cabin designed with two new releases from Park Place at the Out with the Old event; the French Provincial Drop-Leaf Desk with Chair & Accessories and Wood Burning Stove with Brick Floor Hearth.  Also shown are the gacha items Home & Hearth Wing Chair and Comfort in Blue Easy Chair.  I accessorized with Finishing Touches Northwoods Lodge Collection (wall signs, table, lamps, lantern, candle, books, trunk & hanging log cabin quilt) and La Galleria’s Pinecone Accent Pillow and Winter Scene Quilt (both free items).  Check out the Out With the Old….
