The sky broke through the clouds and the sun shined down on the valley, signs of spring are in the crisp air. Today, I wanted to style a garden room featuring Park Place Home Decor items at Gacha Good The Best Is Yet To Come Event until February 15, 2017. The event offers exclusives items and 2 gacha pulls; one for home decor items ($40/pull) and the other for fashion items ($60/pull). The exclusive home items available for individual sale are the Touch of Spring Bench, Floor Pillows and Flower Houseplants (Yellow Hibiscus, Pink Frangipani & Purple Hibiscus). Some of the home gacha collection shown above includes Basket of Yellow Roses, Liberty Planter Arrangement (trio) and Flower Basket Pink.
Another exclusive item offered at The Best Event is by Park Place Casuals the Elena Slacks Outfit in Chocolate/Beige. The outfit features a brown leather vest style front detail on a cream shirt with taper leg beige pants. The classic slacks are also available in dark red and black. And if you’re looking for a more laid back style, jeans in two colors are for sale. I’m wearing Lamb Dissolved Girl hair, a past group gift and Modish Nadine Gem set, free group gift from the Ultra Event. To the right side of Park Place Touch of Spring bench is Serenity Style Love you country frame, a free gift for the All About Home Group. Also shown is StoraxTree Vintage Plant Stand Rose Bush Pink, the hunt gift for Love Me…Love Me Not Hunt from 2/1-2/28.
The last item I want to highlight is Park Place Casuals gacha item Becca Spring Sweater & Skirt in Purple Plaid. The sweater is loose-fitting and tucked in the front with a soft drape in the back. The plaid mini has a cute side cut-out detail. I’m wearing Lamb hair new group gift, Lovesong. There are some cute finds at Gacha Goods The Best is Yet to Come event with loads of Valentine’s Day and romantic items. Hope you enjoyed my touch of spring blog post!

All You Need Is Love…
Hope you had a nice weekend. Today’s post features two of the hottest trends; geo patterns and the Pantone color of the year Rose Quartz. Injecting geometric decor in your home adds a modern flair. From faceted accessories to table or lamps, geo inspired pieces enhance visual appeal & create eye-catching vigor to a room.
What is Pantone color of the year you ask? Pantone began as the commercial printing company in the 1950’s; best known for its Pantone Matching System, a proprietary color space used in printing, paint, and fabric. In 2000, Pantone created the “Color of the Year” as a symbolic color selection that serves as a cultural expression of mood and attitude. For the first time ever in 2016, the blend of two colors were selected: Rose Quartz a warm pink with gray undertones and Serenity a cooler sky blue offering a soothing peaceful balance in a turbulent world. The softer pastel palette mixes well with shades of pinks, purples, grays and creams.
The living room romantic color scheme is the perfect backdrop to add touches of sweet Valentine decor from heart garland, love letters, bird cages and candy heart candles. Love is in the air and with discount shopping events such as Gacha Good Events Out With The Old…In With The New (closes 1/31/16) and Perfect Ten (2/1/16-2/15/16), your home can feel the love without breaking the bank. At Gacha Good, I picked up the Love Ladder, All You Need Is Love Chalkboard and XOXO Vase Console Table from Dixie Dandelion, each $50L. The event is two-prong with new exclusive products on one side of the skybox and gacha machines set up on the other side. Pop over and check out all the deals.
Over at Perfect Ten and out early, The Mustard Seed has the most adorable Surprise Box gacha item ($50L per play), a round hat box decorated with roses, leaves & heart topper. The surprise is when you touch the heart topper, a cute piggy flies up out of the box than pops back down. TMS is also offering the Rose Vase with Pearls and Love Birds with customizable love letters displayed on the coffee table for 50% off. Also discounted at Perfect Ten is Kaya’s Ray of Sunshine Valentine True set which contains 2 sized pink/red heart garland, pink hurricane candle, and red heart pitcher. Take a peek at the other merchandize available from 10 home & garden creators all reduced 50% off for two weeks.

Winter Blues!
Brrr, bundle-up it’s getting cold out there! Today, you’re in luck, I styled a warm and cozy living space using CIRCA Living latest releases from the OMG! and Mix event in cool icy blues and winter whites. The Winter Solstice collection is a lounge room gacha at the OMG! Oh My Gacha event that closes in 4 days and cost $65L per play. There are 12 common items and 3 rares to win, all transferable. Part of the Winter Solstice collection shown above includes blue ribbed area rug, floor cushion (9 sit animations), rattan ball floor lights, hexagon hive wall shelf, chalkboard art, light blue beanbag chair (26 sit animations) and modern fireplace with decor. To complete the styling of the living room, I added some WinterWoods pieces available for the Mix Event until January 31, 2016. The WinterWoods items shown above are the Ornate Bench in Frost Blue and Stick Tree Set in Winter Blues. I also included part of the WinterWoods collection; branch coffee table, mini forest bucket and decorative light trees, all available at CIRCA Living main store. The final touches of the winter wonderland space includes La Galleria snowflake toss pillows, wall decor and lantern (freebies), Plethora hanging snowflakes and snow-dusted white winter trees. Hope you enjoyed my winter blues inspired living space and I encourage you to hop around the grid to create your own!
Contemporary & Cozy
Park Place Home Decor is participating in a new event called Gacha Good Events Out With the Old…. In With the New! (1/10-1/31) offering a collection of chairs and decor items in different styles ranging from contemporary to rustic. At the event there are a few new releases and two gacha machines, one filled with chair ($75L) and the other contains decorative accessories ($35L). To give you an idea of the diversity of products available, I styled two spaces; an art gallery and a cozy cabin.
The art gallery is inspired by the Dada movement, best known for cubism with artist such as Marcel Duchamp, Hans Richter, and Max Ernst. Dada influenced later avant-garde development of surrealism and pop art. I wanted to create a tension filled space with a feeling of the unexpected including the Park Place 3-D Cube Wall Decor (on wall & floor), Tabletop Wireframe Decor, and Autumn Wooden Wall Planters (on window), all gacha decor items. In the gallery, I also used Gold Dust Canvas, Haven Accent Chair (Berry) and Leaf Chair (Harvest Gold), two gacha chair items. Lastly, I accessorized with Sway’s Facette Collection including the vase & wall art (Jan 2016 Mix event, until 1/31), hanging lights and table, all in multiple color options.
The other space is a rustic cozy cabin designed with two new releases from Park Place at the Out with the Old event; the French Provincial Drop-Leaf Desk with Chair & Accessories and Wood Burning Stove with Brick Floor Hearth. Also shown are the gacha items Home & Hearth Wing Chair and Comfort in Blue Easy Chair. I accessorized with Finishing Touches Northwoods Lodge Collection (wall signs, table, lamps, lantern, candle, books, trunk & hanging log cabin quilt) and La Galleria’s Pinecone Accent Pillow and Winter Scene Quilt (both free items). Check out the Out With the Old…. In With the New! event running until January 31, 2016!
