Summer Days!

Happy first Monday of August!  A few days ago Perfect Ten August round kicked off with 10 designers and creators offering new exclusives discounted up to 50% off.   Perfect Ten monthly shopping event runs from 1st – 15th every month and hosted on the Cookie Jar sim.  Today, I’m featuring Tylar’s Treasures Summer Days Collection including teak lounge with 11 single and 8 couple sits, 30 intimate poses, and dance & lotion animations.  There is also a texture change umbrella with teak table and summer beach bag in 7 texture options.  The Summer Days collection is sold as a set or separately.  In addition, Tylar is offering the Pool Float with 6 texture choices and solo/couple animations, all available at Perfect Ten Shopping Event.

The Sea is Life

In my last post, I gave you a taste of Serenity Style Summer Beach Gacha Collection available at OMG! Oh My Gacha event until July 31.  Today, I wanted to featured the whole beach collection which consists of a bag, towel, hammock, boat decor, pouf, and rare beach shack, $80L a pull.  Also included in the seaside scene is the Vintage Sea Decor Set available at On9 event until July 28.  The Vintage Sea Decor Set includes animated vintage swimmer rings and chalkboard “Sea is Life” decor with paddle and floater rings.  To complete the shoreline styling, I used the “Sea Side” wooden decor fence with animated pillows on sale at The Chapter Four event until July 25.  Lastly, I’m giving you a sneak peek of Sway’s Summer Drinking Jars on sale for Fifty Linden Friday, out early.  Hope you enjoyed my mini coastal staging perfect for summer loving!

Castaway Island…

A new round of The Challenge has started with the theme Castaway.  For the July round seven designers have created beachy sun-bleached weathered decor items available at their main stores.  Both Kuro and Shutter Field items are discounted for the month of July.  In the scene above I’m featuring Kuro Easy Breeze shack with 6 single and 10 couple animations on sale for 25% off.  Also on display is Hate This Castaway Campfire with on/off touch for smoke and sound on the campfire, and 17 single and 14 couple poses on the hollow log.  Lastly, Shutter Field has created two releases for the themed monthly shopping event both 30% off during July.  In the foreground of the picture is the Castaway Bed and Lantern with 16 single and 8 couple sits and wearable props.  Completing the Castaway collection is the Outhouse Set featuring a twig makeshift bathroom with toilet paper, shovel and buckets.  There are several other designer who have created pieces for The Challenge, so check out the website and Let’s Get Decorating!

Lemonade Summer!

I’ve been trying to write this blog post for little over a week but real life kept getting in the way.  My plan was to highlight some Trompe Loeil Kiya beach shacks that were available at June Collabor88 and the interiors, unfortunately the new July round of C88 started yesterday.  Since I styled the beach shacks interiors and have photos, I would suggest if you like any previously released items from C88 hop over to the brands main store.  I also wanted to share a few more Perfect Ten discounted items from the July round, available July 1st-15th.

On the front deck of the Trompe Loeil Kiya beach hut is the adorable Dancing Pineapple from MishMish lounging on the Teebrook’s Cubbyhole Lemonade Summer Adirondack chair with umbrella and tray table, discounted item at Perfect Ten.  Yellow, ocean blue and touches of red is the color palette throughout the summer cabin.  The color trend in 2015 is blue and bridges all seasons with different tonalities.

Celebrate America!

Happy July!  In just a few days the great nation of the United States of America will celebrate it’s independence with fireworks, backyard BBQ and pool parties.  I love the 4th of July and couldn’t let the holiday pass without styling three adorable beach shacks in red, white & blue!

Inside the Americana beach hut, I designed a sweet treat buffet table using The Mustard Seed Lighthouse Table.  Aphrodite Shop’s Fruit Kebabs Platter, Patriotic Cupcakes, Fruit Desserts Dispenser, and July 4th Ice Cream (part of the 4th of July dessert pack) are on display.  Flanking the sweet treat buffet bar are two HJM Designs Gingham Rattan Chairs in Blue & Red, I picked up at Perfect Ten.  To complete the patriotic theme decor, I used Finishing Touches Twig Wreath White (Star Studded), Americana Collection Hanging Quilt (Stars & Stripes), Patriotic Wooden Stars, and Americana Collection Stacked Boxes Patriotic Flag.
