Birthday Celebration @ The Cookie Jar!

The Cookie Jar is turning 4 and celebrating with free group gifts and a yard sale.  The Cookie Jar is a Community of Home and Garden enthusiasts on the Second Life grid set around a shopping village.  With a wide range of merchants offering styles including anything and everything from whimsical, southwest, traditional, shabby chic, to name a few.  Check out The Cookie Jar community, take a stroll in the village setting, and stop back every month for the discount Perfect Ten event.

In honor of the fourth anniversary, 14 Cookie Jar merchants have place free group gifts in the center of the village ($0L group join fee).  There are also 13 carts place around the village square with discounted furniture, available until June 30, 2015.  Taxi to the Cookie Jar Yard Sale & Gift Event please…

Utilizing some free gifts, I styled a garden with porch, picnic area, and garden swing, ideal to enjoy the warm summer days and upcoming USA holiday.  Inside the summer cottage are two fun chill-out zones.  I also added a few of the free gifts from the HomeStuff group ($50L group join fee) and freebies offered at the FabFree Headquarters.  To complete the scene I put my hunt hat on and scored some great gifts including: Whimsical Happenings Picnic Table Condiment Holder (Keep Calm & BBQ Hunt 6/8-6/21), Shabby Tabby Beach Plaques (enMESHed into Summer Hunt 6/15-7/15), and Fairey Angel Creations Music Cleft Bookends (Music Hunt 6/1-6/30).  Hope you enjoyed the summery (mostly free) styling and take some time to explore all the Hidden Gems in SL!
