The African Queen

One place in the world I have always wanted to visit is Africa.  The recent round of Collabor88 sparked my creative juices and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to reappraise the monthly “? Room” article based on a specific theme, African Safari.  To create the luxurious safari inspired bedroom haven fit for an African Queen tones of gold, browns, sandstone, creams, and white overlaid with textures of leather, canvas, suede, cotton, and faux fur tied the room together.  Don’t be afraid to overlap rugs and mix animal prints to accomplish the mood of the Africa.  Most items I used are offered at the current round of Collabor88, ending tomorrow so runnnn, and the Lion wall art is a gatcha item from the Around the World in 80 Days hunt available until September 30.  Hope you enjoyed my safari retreat, I had a blast styling the room.  **UPDATE: So sorry I made an error, I thought C88 closed on August 7 for set-up but this afternoon I attempted to teleport to pick up a few last minute items and was unable to access the event location.  All items will be available at the main store locations.
